The SSAE 16 SOC 2 Type II certification is a reporting standard established by the AICPA (American Institute of CPAs) to report on the controls and services provided to customers. It is a critical designation for any organization that handles sensitive data within the medical or insurance claims processing, payroll processing, loan servicing, SaaS, and Network Monitoring Services industries.
